Detailed description
This old canarian house near Tijarafe, made of volcanic rock was carefully restored by the owners from Palma. It has been in family ownership for over 130 years. The house still has the old pinewood floor in all rooms and all windows and doors are made of solid wood.
The idyllic location, close to Tijarafe, in the middle of a large garden is perfect for a relaxing holiday. Today you might decide to take a shady place under the big palm tree, tomorrow you might feel like spending a quiet hour under the medlar tree and the day after you will enjoy barbecue specialities that you have prepared yourself on the big bricked grill. Old paths made of volcanic rock connect all garden areas.
Depending on the season, you are also welcome to help yourself from the large orchard. Peaches, almonds, apples, medlars and much more grow there.
As usual in the old Canarian houses, all rooms have access to the bright, sun-flooded corridor with seating and a great view of the sea.
Casa Abolengo has 2 separate bedrooms, a comfortable lounge, hallway with seating and sea views, kitchen and bathroom. A 2nd bathroom can be reached from the garden.
The house is decorated with many antique, rural utensils, which have been family owned for years.
